Obama Signs Order To Cut US Government Greenhouse Gas Emissions

WASHINGTON — US President Barack Obama signed an executive order that sets a goal for the US government to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 40 per cent by 2025, the White House said.

Although the federal government accounts for only 0.7 per cent of net US emissions, it is the single largest energy consumer in US, according to the White House. Read more.
