The global reusable shopping bag market topped $6 billion dollars worldwide in 2018
and is expected to hit the $10 billion mark by 2025. As you might expect, North America is
the dominant market, followed by Europe, Asia Pacific, South America, and the
Middle East & Africa. Polypropylene is top bag type,
followed by Polyethylene. Both polypropylene and polyethylene
type bags are sold by Belvedere Exclusive. The major
difference between the two is that polyethylene produces a translucent plastic
film, while polypropylene is completely clear. For this reason alone, some
industries might prefer one type over the other. Both types of
bags are rated for more than 125 uses, meaning they are durable, rugged, and
will give you years of service. You might be
wondering, if these bags utilize plastic polymers, how are they any better than
the single-use plastic bags your grocery store uses? Easy. Single-use
plastic bags—as their name suggests—are just that. They are meant to be used once
and then thrown away, becoming an environmental nightmare. To the contrary, re-usable bags made
from Polyethylene and Polypropylene are meant to be used over and over. By transitioning
away from single use bags to reusable ones, millions of tons of plastic bags
will never see a landfill or be carelessly discarded in a marine environment
where they become especially dangerous to wildlife. Get a Quote Belvedere Exclusive’s custom-branded,

early next year, January 25, 2020. This means factories in China (which produce
large custom orders for Belvedere Exclusive) will be closing around January 15,
2020 through the end of February. Due to these closures, the
earliest Belvedere can expect to receive goods is mid- to late-April 2020, with
the last shipping containers of our products destined for the United States
leaving factories in China sometime in early January 2020, before the New Year
celebration commences. If you are planning a
large custom order, we strongly encourage you get it in to us by August 31,
2019, with art approved no later than October 31. This will ensure your order
enters production soon enough so that it is completed and included with our
anticipated January 2020 shipment from China to the USA. That shipment would be
expected to be available here around the end of April/early May 2020. Belvedere is pleased to
offer extended terms to our customers in lieu of this unique situation. Alternately, customers may
opt to have bags produced domestically, which is typical for 250 to 3,000
pieces. If you have any questions,
